President Obama’s healthcare plan effectively mandates that Catholic organizations
provide coverage for abortion-inducing drugs, contraception, and sterilization. When the federal government seeks to impose
secular agenda on religious entities and denies them the right to exercise their doctrinal prerogatives, it tramples on the
First Amendment rights. It’s like stomping on the Bill of Rights with big, muddy boots. The Catholics are not the only
people under attack – it’s an attack against freedom of religion as a whole. We cannot sit back silently and watch.
We must take action now – while there’s still time. Join the fight and sign our petition which will be
delivered to the White House. Take a stand and urge your family and friends to sign it, too.
We cannot do this without you. Your help is important and needed. Now is no time to wave the white flag. Stand up and fight
for religious freedom!
Revere God? Well, it’s time to be like Paul Revere. America, get ready to ride and
sound the alarm!
Check out this video
of Stacie and Carrie singing "In God We Still Trust" which was just uploaded! Given today's threat against religious freedom, this song's message is especially timely.

Letter to President Obama
From: Young Women and All Ages of U.S. Citizens
To: President Barack Obama
Subject: Give back our religious liberty! Please remove your mandate.
Dear President Obama,
We, voting citizens of the United States, fervently and urgently
request that you remove your mandate, which forces Catholic organizations to provide coverage for abortion-inducing drugs,
contraception, and sterilization. This mandate directly attacks religious liberty of all Americans. It violates religious
freedom for all. The mandate not only attacks Catholic rights, but it also attacks freedom of religion as a whole. Clearly,
this mandate violates our constitutional rights - specifically rights protected by the First Amendment. Indeed, no government
branch possesses the right to issue such a mandate. It is against constitutional law.
Major themes of our U.S. Constitution reflect limited government, separation of powers, and
checks and balances. Our Founding Fathers forged a working balance with these principles to provide our country with liberty,
order, and an enduring charter.
Protestants, Democrats, Republicans and others feel most concerned about the mandate's threat against religious liberty. When
the federal government seeks to impose secular agenda on religious entities and denies them the right to exercise their doctrinal
prerogatives, it tramples on the First Amendment rights.
Considering your logic: You've stated that this mandate is for women's health. Mr. President, contraception
is not only inexpensive, it is already widely available free of charge. This negates your very argument. It clearly proves
that your argument is a political issue that your administration will use to promote big-government policies. It has also
revealed the fact that your administration's ultimate goal is to demand that all healthcare plans provide abortion, sterilization,
In closing, we respectfully and passionately petition you to respect and protect our religious
rights in America. It is your duty as President of the United States to do so. You took the Oath of Office. We urge you to
keep it and stop your mandate. Thank you for your time to read this letter and for reconsidering your decision.
Unlike others, we do not desire to insult. We simply urge
you to consult with God, which we believe will result in a change of policy. Yes, we pray for you and wish you to know God's
truth and love. We pray for God to lead our leaders -including you, Mr. President.
Sincerely, Carrie and Stacie Stoelting (and all petition signers)
